At Team Red K9, we do not train for sport. We train for real world situations. You and your dog's life depend on it. We are here to make your dog street-smart and tough. It is crucial that your dog knows when to bite and how to react to critical situations. Our techniques are second to none.

A suspect will never attack you with one big arm. If you give your dog the sleeve as a reward, it can cost you your life on the street. Imagine if a suspect had a coat, backpack or some other foreign object. He could easily use it to block the dog's bite. Your dog is fixated on the reward, not your protection. You are left fighting for your life. We train using full-body tactical suits and various objects as weapons or methods of agitation.

A suspect isn't going to be petting and praising your dog while waiting for the bite. Instead, the suspect will be high on drugs, intoxicated or mentally unstable and will do whatever he can to hurt your dog and you. If your dog cannot defend itself, it will not defend you. We encourage limited personal involvement between the decoy and the dog because your dog should not have a familiar relationship with the target.

A suspect isn't going to be passive in any enclosed or hidden area if he refuses to surrender. If you make the decision to send in your dog, the dog had better be ready to fight. If not trained properly, your dog can be seriously hurt or even killed. The dog should have the same drive regardless of the situation or scenario.
